Who all would be up for a bench seminar in Roanoke done by Chris Taylor? For those that don't know CT has benched 750 at 242 in a full meet, and over 800 at 275. He has some great ideas about how to bench properly, his long distance advice has helped Blane and I immensely in the last year. If we can get a minimum of 8-10 guys he would definitely be up for it. We will keep the cost reasonable. The initial plan would be a Saturday seminar that would start with a discussion with CT about form and gear fitment and proper use etc..then a training day with CT coaching. Estimated seminar time probably around 8 hrs that includes a lunch break. There will be plenty of time for Q & A with CT as well.

The complete agenda should hopefully be finalized by early next week and I will be able to provide more details.

The Bench Seminar has been scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2009 and the location has changed to allow for a little more room. The new location is at VMI in their weightroom. Monte Sparkman was gracious enough to secure the location for us, and for that we are very thankful.

Anyone wishing to come, please PM me here and I will send you the flyer.

Cost will be $65/$50 for students.

Seminar is scheduled to run from 9am-5pm. This will be an instructional AND hands on seminar, so bring your gear and be ready to train!
